I dont think so. I just dont think they offer what customers are looking for. I am looking for a poor holiday season for them…I see them as stuck in the middle. Not high class, but not cheap either. I look for consumers to go either way, but not in the middle

I'd short URBN before I'd short GAP. Cramer still likes URBN so the Cramer jinx hasn't taken effect yet. Plus it is trading close to a 52 week split adjusted high. If it was so great you would think that more investors would have jumped on board since the stock price has become more affordable for the person that wants to buy 100 shares. Check on it periodically and I bet all you will see is 100-200 share blocks trading. why is that? Because the only person buying will be the retail investor that can afford 100 shares! And you know the historical record of ma and pa public. Short at 30.50. Hold until Cramer says sell!

Gap is a dog. 'nuff said.

Looking more like a value play than growth if you ask me. I think Gap stores, from a fundamental and growth perspective, has lagged the newer brands. Ever since their snafu w/ leather in the late 90's (I believe), they have not snapped back. I know that ANF, URBN, & COH are better plays but they might be a little overvalued at these current levels. Looking for lower prices before I start buying into retail. Too much risk at this point.
