REAL-WORLD TRADING: Using a Strangle During Earnings Season, Part VI

We have been following a mock trade the past five weeks using a strangle strategy. Our goal was to show how this strategy works when earnings are approaching. The stock we chose to use was Children's Place (PLCE), which has earnings scheduled for November 16. What we are expecting is for the stock to move sharply and/or the IV on the stock's options to rise heading into its earnings report.
