News with this stock will make it run if oil is good that week because news with this stock tends to remind traders of the potential with the vast amounts of oil that they're sitting on. Falling oil will often limit the run to 1 day or less than that but oil will have a good week next due to opec talk and meeting on friday. (and probably because the wraps can come off the traders now as we're at good gas prices for the elections and oil prices can't change that that much before Nov 7th.)

A similar confluence of events has occurred twice already this year. Once it ran from $5 to $8 in one week back in march, and there was a run from $3.75 to $6 last month.

The reason it has come down is simply because they've been doing a lot of drilling tests and been very quiet on the PR front. More will be happening in the near future.

The l/t future of this stock is a $30-$80 oil stock but there will be many pops on the way to keep the traders coming back for more. Read some of the reports already linked in the other forum - mostly by chinaman.
