April 2011 Trading Simulator Contest - win a trading book

I have reset the trading simulator for April - the prize for winning is a great trading book. The winner will also have his win displayed under his name in the forum.

If you are new to the simulator, you can join at anytime. This thread will be used to discuss the game and post updates on the standings.

You start with $100,000 and you can trade stocks long or short. You can only trade stocks above $2.00. Whoever has the highest amount at the close of trading on Friday, April 29, 2010, wins.

Nah haha, its a glitch in the VSE, whenever my sell order goes through for this stock, I will be up amazing percentage in one day LOL.

It does have an occasional glitch. Everytime I tried to short GPL it said the system was unavailable. Wish it had told me that when I went long NEP. Still fun, though.

You believe me now thierry, about the glitch? It has to do with stock symbol JBII, It is not feeding the current stock price to the VSE Server. Instead whenever you buy or short JBII, the price automatically goes to 0.0 without the feed. Please try to tell VSE to fix, this problem thierry as it can be abused to death, and you could get an infinite return.

1st off, Good Win GeoJad :).

2nd, Thierry WTF is this and why is it glitchy, I have tried to trade JBII 3 times unsuccessfully. This just ruined the Competition and VSE forever at least for me. I can not play like this, so I beg you to please change the simulator to a different website without so many glitches. I suggest www.updown.com (http://www.updown.com/).
