Does anyone here have any views on printed electronics?
Which companies are leading in this field?

I just saw this video of a Norwegian company, Thin Film Electronics (www.thinfilm.no (http://www.thinfilm.no)), the only company able to print memory. They just started a cooperation with PARC.
Here is the video, a presentation made by dr. Davor Sutija, CEO of Thin Film, at PARC forums.

I think this looks promising. Thin Film is priced only at 33$ million on the Oslo stock exchange. And they just issued shares subscribed 3.5times. The stock is now traded almost at this issue value of 0.80NOK.

They just got their first order for memory and memory-controller!!
After 10+ years of development!!!
It is just a pre-production order, but i'm guessing that this will result in more orders to come.
It is a MAJOR asian toy manufacturer.

Also take a look at this:

There will be a need for cheap printed memory when everyone has a NFC reader in their phone.
Imagine RFID tags on every product, with information on where it has been, storage temperatures, GPS locations, etc, stored on a small plastic tag on the product. And you can read it with your phone to see if the jeans or sneakers are fake or real, or if the meat has been stored under the right temperature.
