Imagine, Oliver Stone has bought Master Cramer's book "Confessions of a Street Addict" for "Wall Street II"...

I see Bill Murray as Master Cramer

Sharon Stone as "the Trading Goddess" (wife)

His nemesis has to be Michael Douglas, who, alas, I do not see as Cramer

Oh, for an episode of "Law & Order" how 'bout this TV hyper stock picking guru who is murdered--Should it be the Wed or Sun nite version of the show?

Your turn...

I would like to see Martin Short or Robin Williams as Cramer.

It could be Robin Williams real come back movie...It would be interesting to see Mr. Williams get into "Cramer"

We sure do need a "Wall Street II" and the "Confession..." book screams mo-vie

If Columbo was still around, "Cramer" on the cover of the book, or the old Cramer, would be an excellent villain

Tom Hanks would play a solid Cramer. I'm just thinking back to his role in Philadelphia -- if he could re-play his toughness in that movie, he'd make a great fit.

And maybe a Susan Sarandon-type as the goddess?

What we need casting directors is a picture of the Trading Goddess to build upon

Tom Hanks is excellent, but does he have that, that "feel" on the cover of "Confessions..."

We got to capture that look and feel for this movie to work

The movie should open with that look in a stabbing manner to grab the audience

Lets get Larry the Cable Guy!!! http://www.fadzter.com/smilies/err.gif When he mentions a stock he would use the classic phrase "getter done"

Sometimes I feel as if Larry the Cable Guy is the freaking host, I must confess

One of those separated at birth fotos--Excellent! Alas, not enough marquee, I think--unless we want to try for an el cheapo breakout movie--Wait! Stop the presses: we could plug this actor into our "Law & Order" show!

Paul Giamatti as Cramer. Stephen Colbert as Herb Greenberg. A Floret of Cauliflower as Larry Kudlow. Colm Meaney as Dylan Radigan. And a guest appearance by a large mushy overripe cantaloupe with a dollop of orange varnish on top as Donald Trump.

Its too bad Chris Farley is dead, he would be a perfect Cramer! From the studio in his van down by the river!!
If I had to pick somebody still breathing it would be, Ted Nugent. He's friggin nut's!!!
Who's the guy that played bad santa?? Billy Bob, But only because he used to bang super hottie Angelina Jolie!!
And she would be the perfect trading goddess!!

Good choices, except, puh-leaze, NOOOOOO-O Donald Trump! (Unless we need his money to make this movie)

Since you have put names to faces, do you have an actual picture of Karen Backfisch Cramer, i.e., the Trading Goddess? I Google her and get her name everywhere, but no picture

I agree with WALNUT on Billy Bib Thorton. What an excellent idea. I liked Tom Hanks also.

i have to still side with my original choice of tom hanks, but just to throw it out there, if billy crystal weren't so old, he'd also be a good candidate.

The movie has to be animated, just like Cramer, and who better to play the role than Disney’s character Goofy because whenever he tries to voice his opinion, or even when he talks in general he sounds like a blabbering mess. Here’s a quote - it is what acclaimed Disney animator and creator of Goofy, Art Babbitt had to say about his character: “Think of the Goof as a composite of an everlasting optimist, a gullible Good Samaritan, a halfwit and a shiftless, good-natured hick. He is loose-jointed and gangly, but not rubbery.”

Ouch! Goofy would love "Mad Money." Isn't Goofy dead though?

Cramer is insane enough to play himself.

Hmmmm, this would be new slant for movies, but using his doppelganger to play him might work

I would use jason alexander as cramer..Wasnt cramer a little chubby back in the day? There both bald and chubbyish.
But I just love Jason Alexanders work so..

I think the best actor for the part is the pic of this secondary character actor "who8me2k7" posted previously on this thread--This guy had to have been separated from Cramer at birth!

As I see it, Oliver Stone needs a hit, ergo why not "Wall Street II," but really Cramer's "Confessions..." book--Look, Hollywood is using a Christopher Reeves look-a-like and unknown for its new Superman movie...So, cast Paul in the darn role, dah! Give him a break, too, Hollywood, geez!
