Any ideas? Nice ride so far, 4th quarter looks great, unclear on the short term. Let it ride? Looking for concensus from "Cramericans"

We cashed in profits on half when the news came out about their deal with Apple and let the other half ride. Not sure whether that was the best thing to do, but a bird in the hand....

Not sure how much of an effect if any it would have on MOT. But they have a slight problem with EDGE or there top end line phones. They can not swap out the chip set. I am not even sure what the EDGE data format does or what the letters even stand for

My 2 favorite posters are deepinwonder and helk, there are a few others that are catching up.

EDGE is basically sending/recv data on the phone. I love MOT, seems like it's rising a little every day. I am going to keep it for the upcoming holiday season.

MOT should be a good play for the holiday season, that's why we held on to some.

I think you made a good decision to sell some and pocket gains while letting the rest ride. Its never bad to take some profit off the table.

I think MOT is a good long-term play, not just a holiday play. I think it will go to 38+ within the next year or two. Of course, taking some profits is never a bad thing in this game.

Helk - you are right. Don't forget that Motorola's "Blackberry Killer" is coming out in Q1. I work in the cellular industry and these are supposed to be pretty cool. I think I might buy a few more shares if it pulls back a bit.
