KANSAS CITY, Mo.----Kansas City Southern reported third quarter 2009 revenues of $386.1 million compared with $491.5 million in the third quarter of 2008. While all commodity groups experienced revenue declines in the third quarter compared to a year ago, every commodity group recorded higher revenues on a sequential basis from the second quarter, reflecting a gradually improving business environment.
