How do you think the dollar will hold up into the second quarter? Also why aren't more people in the FOREX forum?

Continued economic weakness and rate cuts along with diminishing purchasing power from increased inflation levels leave a very bleak outlook for the dollar. Personally I'm hiding in the Swiss Franc and getting into gold on a significant pullback, I still don't think it's a good time to start getting long the dollar, especially as the ECB doesn't want to cut rates, which keeps spiking up the Euro even more. Not to mention that many people are using the Dollar Carry Trade extensively and will probably continue to do so in this low rate environment.
Considering the fear of a recession, the ongoing war in Iraq and the upcoming election in November, I think that the Dollar will follow the current trend at least until November.
Furthermore it seems like that many people who were into currency trading (http://www.nyu.edu/clubs/masstransit/newyork/Currency-Trading.html) are trying to get rid of their dollars and invest their money into oil and gold and this will weaken the Dollar again.
It will be interesting to see what happens next. :)
