Here it is....just need to fill in the blanks. The "easy target" is 40% and his goal is a meager 100%.
Just use this as a template daily......we will all help.
Stock____________
Entry Date__________Entry time_________
Entry Price____________
Number of Shares__________
Target Price___________
Reason for entry__________(Gut, hope, news, chart etc.)
Exit Date___________
Exit Price____________
% Gain minus expenses_________ Should be an easy 100% or better
We'll build the rolling calculation template as we get a few under our belt.
Tony, Hedge, Aiki, English, Zap, Albert and Net, gonna need your help on this fellas. I get a little emotional when the gains get out of control.
Grunt.

Grunt. In all seriousness, this is a pretty good template for all of us to use on trades — well, maybe without the "Should be an easy 100% or better" comment.
Can wait for Nike to show us the way.
As the folks with the shotguns say, "Pull!"

Great starter thread Luc, let's make this happen NikeTennis...we're here to work with you. Perhaps I'll start my own too, this sounds like a great idea.

I must say that this is the best forum i've ever joined (definatly the most educational). I'm not saying i'm always right but I shoot some penny stocks that I think have momentum. My typic goals for gains are 15%,25%, 50% or 75%. I would never try to let a penny stock run because I'm just in this to try to make quick money and be safe. I would never hold a penny stock overnight. If i'm down 25-50% i' m selling, and if i'm up 25-50%, i'm selling.

You guys I am soooo excited about this stock... EXTF
Check out this incredible news....
Extreme Fitness, Inc. (EXTF) is pleased to announce that it has sold a (as in 1) BWX Elliptical Cardio machine to Colorado Department of Corrections, La Vista Facility.
As a result of the durability and quality of our equipment for exercise and fitness, La Vista and other correctional facilities are looking for better ways to keep costly repairs and/or replacements of existing equipment to a minimum. Extreme Fitness has several lines of equipment that will outlast and out perform the competition's exercise equipment.
WOW!!!! I mean how do you not buy on that news! They sold 1 elliptical trainer!!! I'm taking all the money I made in ETIM and putting it in EXTF!!! Man what is Sears doing wrong?! They sell about 3 a day even in my podunk little town but I bet they don't get the prison business... what a niche!!!!!
Sorry, all I have time for, I'm looking for more hot tips8O

I thought this was just a simulation. I have all of my money in SIRI right now so I can't buy penny stocks. I'll just try to put a pick up here every day to see what kind of results I get. I'm waiting for the merger between SIRI and XM to be approved (or not approved) and hoping for the stock to go to $5-7 a share. I'm guessing 4.50 because that is what a lot of analysts are saying but I'm praying for the $5-6 range because then I can sell with a great gain.

All of us old, cynical "vets" must have run him off. Well, maybe that's a bit strong.
But then again, the lights can get pretty damn hot. Hope the little fella is doing well.

I don't think the cynics ran him off, and I hope he's doing well, as well.
In the time I have been here we have had many folks come with high hopes and shallow wallets, and then fade into the ether. It is a tough game and the odds are stacked against the little guy.
Things are likely to get worse. The market has been pretty good for several years now, but with forecasts looking for slowing growth or worse the marginal investor/trader is going to be under increasing pressure. The chances of getting lucky are getting lower every day, and if your playing in the shorter timeframes you can get your hat handed to you.
If I were a young investor in this market, I would be dripping every paycheck and looking out two years or longer.
As a trader I am short biased, and likely to be short biased for the next quarter or two.

Great advice for those stumbling on this site with rose colored glasses or through "dreams of riches".

Hey guys, you didn't run me off. I actually listen to all of your advice, and I plan not to invest in penny stocks. The reason I haven't posted in a while is due to the fact that I somehow forgot my password. I've read the forum but never really posted for a while and just created an account back up. AIKI, I agree totally with your bearish outlook on stocks. I would be shorting stocks right now but I don't trade with margin so I can't.
